New router cant find my TL-SG105E switch.
New router cant find my TL-SG105E switch.
I swapped my ISP modemrouter for the Asus GT-AX6000 but this router cant find my TL-SG105E v5 and TL-SG108E v4 switch.
My ISP router did find the switch and gave it a ip address.
The TL-GS105E and TL-SG108E are connected to the GT-AX6000 lan port.
I did reset the TL-SG105E and TL-SG108E but this didnt fix the problem.
Everything that is connected to the lan ports from the TL-SG105E and TL-SG108E is working, the switch is working but i cant go into the user interface from the switch.
Any idea why de router doesnt set a ip address to the TL-SG105E and TL-SG108E after factory resetting both switches?

Any luck resolving this one? I tried to look up IPTV connections and didn't find a lot of info out there. I'm admittedly not familiar with IPTV WAN connections...just seems like the ASUS router isn't handling something properly. I definitely noticed my former ASUS router didn't ever see TP-L switches as clients, and I always had to assign the IP and gateway manually to the switches themselves. Have you tried posting this in the ASUS forums or contacting their support in relation to this prolem? SNBforums is another good resource and I know there are a lot of German users that frequent that forum who might be able to help.

@Shoresy No, i can't fix this problem, i did report this problem on the Asus site but no 1 came with a solution and i reported it with the Feedback within the router.
Asus just put a new Beta firmware on the downloadsite with point 2 Add VLAN in LAN settings. i dont know if it has something to do with my problem.
