VIGI NVR1008H(UN) playback very laggy

I'm having very laggy/slow playback issue with the hardware. Both Vigi POE bullet cam and 4 Tapo RTSP cam recorded on the NVR. the time skips 2-3 seconds and playback is unbearable to review. Live view is working without issues. Is this normal?

NVR Device information:
Model: VIGI NVR1008H(UN)
Firmware Version: 2022-12-10 00-58:35

Bullet Camera Device Information:
Model: VIGI C340
Firmware Version: 2.0.1 Build 220629 Rel. 69346n

It sounds like hard drive issue. If you use ViGi APP to playback the record, will you see the same thing?

Maybe try another hard drive.

thanks! didn't think about that. will replace with 1tb sata ssd and test again in a few days. i installed the vigi app on my iphone and it didn't lag reviewing vids from 45 days ago. I just cant export from the phone.
