Model: TL-SG3428X   EAP225-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.9 Build 20221021 Rel.62172

I started to make a site for a client, it has 3 AP connected, they are connected to the seamed CAT6 cable, one of them appears as 100mb (EAP225-Outdoor)  in switch port table, that AP has a gigabit port, why recognize the AP as slower port?

  @titocarnale

Maybe try a shorter Ethernet cable?

  @titocarnale Take the problem EAP to the location of one of the EAPs that is negotiating at 1000. Connect the problem EAP to the know good cable and see if the problem persists.

  @RickJamesBish Yes maybe, i just wanna know if the cable can make the switch goes to a lower speed, The problem is the project is already given to the client, I can do a "prove" I just need wait for a casualty if I go to the office and is nobody there to make that prove. I keep in touch if the problem fixed. Thank you.

  @titocarnale "i just wanna know if the cable can make the switch goes to a lower speed"  To explicitly answer the question.  Yes the cable and its path can degrade the link.  When there are too many errors or retries on the connection, one of the devices connected can negotiate a lower link speed.  Causes of link speed reduction can be poor termination, kinks/bends/pinches, interference from other high frequency equipment, water getting into the termination, or animals/insects casing cable damage.

Edit: Also look at the LAN info for the EAP-225-Outdoor in the Details tab, there are stats on packet errors and dropped.

  @JoeSea I make a screenshot for the dropped packages, that marks 0. If you need more info, please let me know. Thank you for you help.
