Model: CPE210
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Both the AP and the client work as expected. The connected TP-LINK N300 travel router also operates as expected.

In a nutshell the complete system works.

Client is near a road so I did not broadcast the SSID. I also changed the clients IP on installation.

That was about 5 years ago and have lost the notes I made.

Now I want to ping the client but I don't know what IP to enter in the AP.

I don't know what IP to enter into the browser to open the login window.

I have all N300, CPE-210 AP, and CPE-210 Client login data. (username & passwords)

I cannot access the clients login window because I am missing  the IP and SSID of the client.

The question then is how can I get the clients IP from either the N300 or the CPE-210 AP?

Physically getting at the client is very risky.

Thank you very much for any advice.

Hi, Dude, it is a difficult problem.

If you keep the static IP when you set them up in the first time, maybe you can try the default one 192.168.0.254/192.168.0.253

If they are both wrong, you can try to find the CPE IP on your router DHCP client list, but only if the CPE is Dynamic IP.

  @Drdan66

Thanks much Virgo for stepping in.

Naturally I tried all the defaults as well as several dozen others.

Last night I remembered I could reset the cpe210 using a reset button on the front of the POE. I have several POEs. I'll dig one out that has the button. I think that'll get the job done.

My best goes out to you,

Yes, Reset will fix everything but at the same time, you will lose all settings and need to set them up again.
