@NETMANJA  See image below, which is in response to these phantom firmware versions. I don't buy the explanation myself but it is how they are responding to it. 

TPlinks handling of firmware is already convoluted, so I don't understand why they feel the need to throw another log on the fire. To avoid confusion, don't give the firmware a new version number if it has no changes, that according to Hank21, only improves the production process. Otherwise post the firmware on the devices page with the disclaimer that it has no changes.
