Hello I have a port on my router that is configured with untagged vlan 50. I can connect a Nic to that port and if I tag vlan 50 I get a connection to the network. Using the nic with no tag results in no network connection, so the port on the router seems to only accept tagged traffic. 

Without using a typical trunk port is there a way I could use my the switch to connect to VLAN 50 and use the switch to connect other devices over to Vlan 50? Is this an access port of sorts?
