Firmware Version: latest

So the place I go to just switched their wifi to open security but I have to agree to the terms before it will give me an IP address. Just like a hotel. Takes me to a webpage.

Trying to figure out a way around this.

My thoughts were to clone my mac address from the tplink to my laptop. Join the network, accept terms on the webpage.  Then turn off my wifi on the laptop and see if the tplink will connect. Trick it with mac address.

 

Anyone else have this problem?

Do you wanna set the CPE as WISP mode to connect this open wifi to extend the network?

I haven't tried the similar topo like yours, but normally assign the CPE a static IP, not dynamic.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
