Model: CPE210
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I have a few CPE210's that I use for bridges, and I thought I'd check out Pharos Control software. After realizing it doesn't do anything of value for my specific installation I decided to uninstall it. However, now I can no longer access the CPE web management interfaces. How do I regain access to their web interfaces?

Hi  @dononeil

What will you see when you try to access the web UI via the IP address?

If you already uninstalled the Control, you may need to factory reset the CPE units and refer to How to login to the Pharos-Series’ web management page to configure them again.

  @dononeil

If your PC is connected to CPE via the Ethernet cable but it can't log into the web management page to configure CPE, please refer to the steps below:
    1. Make sure the topology hardware connection is properly.
    2. Confirm whether the IP address of CPE and IP address of PC are in the same subnet.
    3. Check if firewall or anti-virus software on your PC block the access.
    4. Try to login with different web browsers, clear the cache and enable privacy mode.
    5. Performing a reset process might help.
For more details about the troubleshooting steps, please refer to:  Why cannot I log in to the web management page of the CPE?

@Vincent-TP The CPE was configured, accessible via it's web interface and working fine prior to trying out the ParOS Control Software. Once the PharOS control software discovered the CPE, it could no longer be reached by the web interface. How do you restore the access like I had prior to PharOS Control? I get no value out of the software and don't want to use it.

@Vincent-TP When I select Open WebUI from Pharos Control, or I try to go to the devices IP address directly the connection just times out. All I had done was install PharosControl and make the devices managed to check things out, and even after doing that the webUI wasn't reachable. The devices are still functioning, and PharosControl can edit the basic wireless settings, but I need to make more complex changes so I de-installed Pharos Control thinking it would restore access and it didn't. Even reinstalling PharosControl and making them manageable again doesn't restore access to the WebUI. I'd really hate to have to go reset them and reconfigure them in the field, that would be quite painful.

Hi  @dononeil

We can still access the CPE's web interface via their IP addresses even when they are managed by Pharos Control.

If you can't do that, please refer to the following link to do some basic troubleshooting.

Why cannot I log in to the web management page of the CPE?

If nothing helps, I am afraid the only option would be factory reset the CPE and re-configure them.
