Model: EAP245
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.0.5

 Four ap's and everything is fine add a fifth and the network crashes over and over to the point devices arent reachable

Two poe switches one with 130w to spare and the other with 200w to spare.

I can see no reason for this to happen.

Hardware:

Poe switches Tl-SG1016PE

                      TL-SG1428PE

Router is opnsense with a 10gig fibre to ethernet conection

AP: EAP245(Canada) v3.0[Custom        5.0.5

      EAP235-Wall(US) v1.0                     3.1.1

      EAP245(US) v3.0                             5.1.0

      EAP615-Wall(Canada) v1.0[Cu...    1.2.4

Adding either a eap 235 or eap610 and it all hits the wall.

The device gets added and then suddenly all eap go offline and say heartbeat missing  and the network crashes

They come back up they go back off and so on.

Removed the cable as a possiable cause

Tried it with the oc200 controller and the software on the pc same results

Stumped on this one

At a lose as to why this would happen

  @Magnus33

Could there be a loop in the network? try and disable mesh on the controller to see if that helps. are there several cables connected to the access point that can create a loop?

  @MR.S

Loop was ruled out and both the poe switches haven loop preventurned on just incase.

Mesh though is a idea.

I disconnected all ap's and added all of them back and with the exception of a brief lose of conection when setting them back up things seem solid.

Ironcally i avioded mesh as you suggested as it was mostly useless for this deplyoment.
