Hi

I have just built a PC which the switch will not allow to connect to the internet as the PC can connect when plugged straight into the router alone
as this error is only shown when i connect on the upstairs network (through the switch) i can only assume that it is to blame does anybody have any idea why as i get
"local area connection dosen't have a valid ip configuration " when going through the switch
Thanks

Hi, borderking123

1. Verify the port speed (10/100 Mbps, Full/Half duplex) on your router and PC;

2. Replace RJ-45 patch-cords;

3. Update the ethernet driver on your PC;

4. Try different ports on your switch. Ports may be damaged.
