Region : UnitedStates

Model : TL-SG3210

Hardware Version : Not Clear

Firmware Version : 1.9.2 Build 20130527 Rel.59782

ISP : Comcast

So I bought this switch, to possibly create VLAN in my home network, I have done it let. I know this is a bit over kill but I ran out of ports on my wireless router so I bought this switch. One thing that I have been noticing is that my gaming session through PS4 have been suffering, and I wasn't having any issues prior to installing. I have 31Mb up and 8Mb down so speed is not the issue. I own that the PS4 require certain ports to be open for the best form of communication, I am not sure how to do that.

Hi, opman

TL-SG3210 doesn't block any ports by default.

1. Try to update the firmware to the latest available version.

See TP-Link TL-SG3210 User Guide -> Firmware Upgrade:
http://tplink-manuals.org/tplink-tl-sg3210-sg3216-sg3224-user-guide/29/

Firmware for TL-SG3210:

2. Reset TL-SG3210 configuration.

See TP-Link TL-SG3210 User Guide -> System Reset:
http://tplink-manuals.org/tplink-tl-sg3210-sg3216-sg3224-user-guide/30/

3. Replace RJ45 Patch Cable and use different ports on the switch.
