Region : UnitedStates

Model : TL-SG5428

Hardware Version : Not Clear

Firmware Version : 1.9.2 Build 20130527 Rel.59782

ISP : COMCAST

So I bought this switch, to possibly create VLAN in my home network, I have done it let. I know this is a bit over kill but I ran out of ports on my wireless router so I bought this switch. One thing that I have been noticing is that my gaming session through PS4 have been suffering, and I wasn't having any issues prior to installing. I have 31Mb up and 8Mb down so speed is not the issue. I own that the PS4 require certain ports to be open for the best form of communication, I am not sure how to do that.

Hi, opman

1. Update a firmware to the latest available version:
TP-Link TL-SG5428 User Guide -> Firmware Upgrade

2. Check the Log Table of the switch for errors or port link/speed changes:
TP-Link TL-SG5428 User Guide -> Log Table

3. See Collisions / Alignment Errors on ports:
TP-Link TL-SG5428 User Guide -> Traffic Statistics

4. Replace RJ-45 patch cords

5. Try different ports
