Hi,
I am in the process of getting a quote for custom cable and I have to select the end polish APC or UPC, that's either angle polish or ultra polish. What is the correct choice when using MC210CS on both ends of 400m of cable?

Thanks,
Dan

Make sure the interface is LC, single-mode fiber, that's OK

Hi, Dan

MC210CS has SC-Type connectors.

You should use Ultra-polished connectors (UPC) connectors with MC210CS. They have blue color.

Angle-polished connectors (APC) should only be mated to other angle-polished connectors. They are distinguished visibly by the use of a green strain relief boot, or a green connector body.

See TP-Link MC210CS Datasheet

@lystor

Can we use SC-APC for MC210CS.

I have cable with sc/apc to sc/apc. Does it work or i must buy sc/apc to sc/upc.

Fiber optical box is sc/apc.
