Firmware Version : 4.4.7 Build 120821 Rel.56860n

Hello everyone,
I have an outdoor setup of a TL-WA5210g with a clear line of sight to a high gain antenna on a mikrotik routerboard that should provide me with 10Mbs. The distance is 500m and the link appears with 25db.
However, i am always ever able to get 5Mbs.
This is dissapointing, especialy since in a few days i will be getting 20/2 optic fibre connection at the mikrotik location.
The WA5210g is setup in AP mode with wireless mode "client"
Wireless
Operating Mode: Client
Signal: 27 dB
SSID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Channel: 1
Mode: 11Mbps (802.11b)
MAC Address: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? The distance isn't that big to account for souch a lousy throughput. And for some reason - even tho the antenna is set to gigh power and 54Mbps mode, the wirelsss page reports that i'm running only 11Mbps.
Thank you!
