Hello,

What is the receiving and transmitting wavelength of this product? On TP-Link site in Overview section and i user manual that came with media converter it is said that it is 850nm and in Specifications section it is 1310nm .

@crnac MC100CM is multi-mode, as per datasheet the wavelength is mentioned 1310nm, Normally the Multi-mode Wave length range is (820 nm and 1300 nm) and the single mode range is (1310nm and 1550 nm), so how it come MC100CM is multi-mode with 1310nm?

@EMADOV,

100BASE-FX specifies a wavelength of 1310nm over multi-mode fiber which gives a 2km range. I have no idea why you think the wavelength for multi-mode fiber is limited to 1300nm.
