Hey, forumers

I just found that there is a new beta for CPE510/BS510 in the beta subforum, which seems to support extra frequency spectrum for 5GHz pharos products from 4920-MHz ~ 6100-MHz. It means users can use channels that is seldom used, like driving on a highway alone.

:cool:What a luck that I just recently got two CPE510.

I got to do some test on this beta. (As I have not yet installed my units, I will do a simple test indoor first.)

Here is the thread of the new beta.

Indoor test (very close, just a few meter away), both computers are Windows 7 with the Ix-chariot installed.

computer1 ---- CPE510_AP ))) (((( CPE510_Client ------computer2

I got over 94mbps(average) in Ix-chariot performance tests in several channels among 4.9~6.1 Ghz. It is achieving the full speed of the 100Mbps Ethernet port.
Even if you connect two PC with 100Mbps Ethernet ports directly via a cable, you will get only 95Mbps in the Ix-chariot performance test.

Very impressive to these products so far.
