Hi,
I'm trying to link two switches ( A Sg3210 and a SG3424 ). Quite simple .... but Itn't working.
My configuration is : [Router] -- [Switch 3210] -- [Switch 3424] -- [Computes/printers/....]. On the Switch 3210 is also connected a Synology with 4 LAN's - with link agregation (test).
No VLAN,or other specific configuration.
Between the two switches, only one cable (tested). I have a second cable available ...if recommended, needed ...

So, what's wrong ? Any special settings needed ?
In advance, many thanks,
Marc

Link Aggregation?
What have you done? Did you bind two network cards on your PC?

A little more back
ground information would be nice.

Switch 1: TL-SG3210
Switch 2: TL-SG3424

How is your network layout?
For example: [Router] -- [Switch 1] -- [Switch 2] -- [Computer]?

How many cables are you putting between the switches? Just 1 or more?
Are both switches on basic settings?
No VLAN settings for example?
Are both switches powered on?

Hi
After a careful examination of each element and reload the factory configuration of SG3210 ... I was very surprised that the link between the switches works!
Thank you for your suggestions,
