HI
I'm trying to understand the cable test function on my switch.
First, does anyone know why I can only test ports 1 to 14? I have 16 ports, so why can't I test the last two?
Second, I'm trying to understand the results of a test in terms of cable pinouts.
If I'm right, Pair-A/B/C/D refers to the 1000Base-T MDI/MDI-X naming. I'm cabling my home using 568B MDI (straight-through). If I'm correct, then the mapping is as follows:
Can anyone confirm this for me?
Thanks in advance

| Pin | 568B | 100BaseTX Pair | 1000Base-T Pair |
| 1 | White/Orange | 2 | A |
| 2 | Solid Orange | 2 | A |
| 3 | White/Green | 3 | B |
| 4 | Solid Blue | 1 | C |
| 5 | White/Blue | 1 | C |
| 6 | Solid Green | 3 | B |
| 7 | White/Brown | 4 | D |
| 8 | Solid Brown | 4 | D |
Can anyone confirm this for me?
Thanks in advance
