Hi there,
Any guru on CPE-510? I'm a mixed UBNT and TP-LINK user (5210 and 7210) for the past 12-months. I have linked 7210 over 4.5Km at very clear LOS in bridge mode using high gain external antenna (23dbi).
My question is, since I haven't tried the new CPE-510, can this be linked in 11Km distance at clear LOS in bridge (P to MP mode)? Point A is 100ft, while Point B is 1300ft?
I need to achieve an aggregate throughput of 40Mbps.

Thank you.,

CPE510 is a 5 Ghz device 5210 & 7210 are 2.4 Ghz devices
Read the specs. here http://www.tp-link.com/resources/document/CPE510_V1_Datasheet.pdf it reads 15 Kms.
I have linked 510s up to 7.2 Kms. can't answer 11 Kms. cause I don't have that need
Don't recommend Bridge mode, I suggest AP mode/Client mode

With highest transmission power (27dbm on the web interface), it is capable for 13 Km (PtP link, up to 60Mbps Ethernet throughput, field tested) in my town.

Point A is 100ft, while Point B is 1300ft?

You also need to make sure there is no any obstruction between the AP and clients. And no obstructions in the Fresnal Zone.

BTW: CPE510 is 300Mbps AP. But it has no reserved interface for external antennas. It said that there will be basestation models named BS510 / BS210 which must work with external MIMO antennas.

Thank you ZETM and DANYMARC. This can save my presumption. 60Mbps is not bad enough. I only need to throw 20Mbps aggregate on this distance.
By the way, is BS510 and BS210 still under TPLINK product lines? What about the High Gain MIMO antennas? Are those radio models compatible with third party MIMO antennas?
thank you
