5 Kms. on 2.4 Ghz. it would be like throwing your money
sbould be done on 5Ghz CPE510, you need, sector antennas, a Mikrotik RB for administration, a computer for Handycache, a Tower or towers 510s & routers for customers homes and lots of reading.

Hi Danymarc,
I read that 2.4 Ghzfreq travels further than 5Ghz, but you sounds oppose with that. May I know why?
How about the proper outdoor armor antenna (picture below) like you told me before, wondering why can't just use the popular outdoor omni antenna:
A little bit out of the topic, I've visited the ISP website: http://www.somcable.com/
If Somalia which I always read on the news is a war-torn country, sea pirates, etc... can provide a good fiber optic for the people, then my country Indonesia is F@#%ed up!
Internet here is slow and expensive. It's hard to get a decent internet connection here with reasonable price.

RF Armor is not and antenna, its a shield for the sector antenna, to avoid interferance, Shield that you will need with 2.4 and 5Ghz freqs. because of the close deploy, as the picture you posted. read here
http://www.rfarmor.com/
You been posted, you been warn, if you insisit on 2.4Ghz go ahead, its your money.
And about,
untill you waste money, you will understand, there is no point on posting any expalnation, if at the end you are going to do what you think is best for you, from what you have read in Google.
If you have money to throw, buy 10 CPE210s, use one as Backhaul (your main AP) and the others in Clients homes on AP-Client-Router mode, it will work, but as you grow, you are going to understand your mistake.
In case you need more than one as Backhaul cause of the degrees to cover, place as many as you need, just dont make a stupid umbrella like this one, at least deploy them with 3 mts. separation, and they have the guts to show the video to the World
Click the link yo see it

You must to change all plastic clamp, bracket to cooper wire or wire or steel clamp. In my experience after one year the plastic will broke and all your equipment fill fail after a rain

Thanks so much for your info, currently checking and I'm shocked to read the one I quoted above

You should never use plastic clamps to support your APs, always steel clamps
