Hello experts,

I'm trying to connect to an SSID that has a captive portal page that you need to enter your account to access the internet, but my cpe610 (in client mode) doesn't seem to obtain IP number from this particular SSID, while it does when connected to another SSID which has also a captive portal page as well.

 

Does this particular SSID block my cpe610 from obtaining an IP? I have tried static and dynamic

 

if this SSID blocks my cpe610, is there any way to overcome this issue?

Hi  @Bishi 

 

If only this portal's SSID is problematic, it might be due to incompatible encryption methods or protocols with the CPE610, or some other restriction configured by the device.

We recommend switching to a different SSID for use.

What kind of the device was the portal SSID from?

Please test the CPE with a non-portal SSID.

I'm not sure what devices they're using to broadcast the SSID. 
 

I have tried other non-portal SSID and portal-SSID and all worked fine, except this particular SSID that only works on my mobile.

 

I also have tried Antenna: 23dBi and feed only-7dBi, nothing worked so far
