Good day, 

 

Ive tried using TP Link TL-SM5310-T 10G BASE-T SFP+ and it did not work. when i cheked the website of the sfp module it does not state it is compaitble with my switch. What alternatives can i use?

 

I know i can do fibre but need the ports for copper (rj45)

The issue was due resolved after restarting the switch

End device is a 10gb wan connection

 Hi @Deeps530,

 

Can you provide more information regarding the device on the other end of the wire and the port's link speed setting on both ends?  Often the SFP+ connectivity issues are related to mismatched or incompatable link speeds.
