I just installed TL-SG1008D, and new Printer. From my MacPro i can print out and use it with no problem after only 1 minutes and from PC desktop (windows XP) no way to connect my printer. Printer is HP CP1518ni.

SG1008D is an unmanaged switch. Did you check the printer's configuration? Bypassing the switch, have a test.
