Hotspot with vouchers, unlimited use
I have a OC200 controller that handles a number of APs (no switches or gateways integrated with Omada). I have a guest network with portal and voucher authentication. Vouchers have to limit time client connection (30 minutes), but have to be reusable by multiple clients (same voucher enables many clients for 30 minutes each).
I created this voucher group:
- Type: unlimited use
- Duration type: client duration
- Timing: by time
- Duration: 30 min
With this configuration I'm expecting my desired behaviour, but what I'm getting is that vouchers expire within the first use. What I'm missing? There is some other setting? I can't find detailed documentation about this.

Hi @Aroldo93
If I understand correctly, the following config should meet your requirements:
1. Create a voucher, choose the Validity as Permanent

2. Go to the Portal config page, and configure Authentication Timeout as 30 mins:

3. Check Daily Limit:

With the above config, different clients will be able to connect to the network with the permanent voucher, and each connection will be limited to 30 minutes every day

Thanks for posting here.
Has it been a full 30 minutes since the first use? Or does the system report an expiration error when a client reconnects within the initial 30-minute window?
What is the model number and firmware version of the EAP you are using? Please share a screenshot of the device page.
What kind of controller are you using? What's the firmware version?

@Vincent-TP Playing with the various settings I see that there is a general behaviour that now I think is the intended one: at the first activation of a voucher starts the timer of the first client (1 min in my test) and when this ends, also the voucher expires. The already activated clients can finish their 1 min time slot, but the voucher can not be used to activate new clients anymore. I tought that the voucher would have expired only in the case of "Limited Usage Counts". So you can confirm that there is no way to create an "eternal" voucher, indefenetively reusable?
