I don't think 5 TL-WA5210G can met the demand of such a large project.

1. The recommended distance for 5210G is 0~2km, it's impossible to cover all 100km tracks with only 5 devices.
2. TL-WA5210G is an old 11g product. Use it as a main AP will force the whole network to work in 802.11g mode, which leads to a low transmission speed.
3. Suppose that you manage to cover 100km with 5 TL-WA5210G, that means the distance between each AP is 25km. However, communication is bidirectional. For mobile device such as laptop/cellphone, it's almost impossible to communicate with AP in a distance longer than 300m.

Maybe you should ask a technical engineer for some advice. Besides, a field test is needed.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to use as many 5210g devices as needed to cover the 100km of tracks. I meant that 5 different devices will be connected to every AP and the speed is not important because of the small data transmited. Basically I need to know if I set the 5100g to AP, will it transmit WiFi and also repeat the signal to the next AP 10km away?

Would you please tell us what kind of devices will you connect to the AP? And the distribution of the devices.
Since in long distance wireless transmission, we always use a directional antenna to focus energy to reach the far-end.
As you can see in the below image, the coverage of signal is long and 'narrow'.



If the devices locate in the coverage area of AP, and they are powful engouh to communicate to AP, maybe you can try my solution.

10km is too long for WA5210G since it's recommended distance is only 2km. While this still depends on your real environment , you need filed test to see how many AP is needed...
Besides, WA54210G has internal directional antenna, the repeater mode is not recommended due to the poor signal in its back side...
You need two 5210G in each node, one as client to receive the AP's wireless signal before it, and the other as AP to transimit wireless signal to next client and your Cradlepoint IBR600.

I think you have better hire a professional engineer to undertake the project. What I can figure out is the solution as below image:



1. You are required to setup two 5210G as a repeat station as the orange box shows.
2. Place enough repeat stations to cover the whole 100km.
3. Use CPE210 instead of 5210G will reduce the number of devices since the recommend distance of CPE210 is 0-5km.
4. Make sure the IBR600s locates in the coverage area of each AP but this is so difficult since if you want to extend the signal to as long as possible, you will apply a directional antenna which will focus the energy to very narrow angel. Look at the image below you can understand it more clearly.

Thanks for the help I learned a lot. I also checked for other devices provided from TP link and saw that CPE510 or CPE210 is the better option like you've said stupidbird.
I will consult a professional company to provide this service because It's more complicated than I taught.
