I'm trying to get network access into a metal barn from the house. My house wifi signal (with WPA security) can reach the barn but can not go through the metal walls. I have a TL-WA5210G and several old routers that I can use to create this system.

Can I put the TL-WA5210G on the barn to communicate with the house? How would I set that up? From my playing with it, I think I need to set it as an access point but then I can't use WPA. Is that correct? Are there any other options?

Thanks for any help!

How long is it from your house to the barn? Any obstacle? Would you please draw the pic for us?
And what's the devices do you own? Model?

For your demand, you may need to build a P2P link from house to barn.
But notice, communication is bidirectional, both sides should be powerful enough to send data to other from a distance.
