Model: CPE210
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have set this up successfully repeating my home wifi outdoors. I can connect down my driveway almost to my gate. I lose it about 50 feet short. There are some trees obstructing, but I can't do much about that, and can't reposition the unit very much. Are there any setting modifications I can make to eek out a tiny bit more "juice"? I have the transmission power slider maxxed out. The km distance setting doesn't seem to do anything. (It may not be applicable to repeater mode.)

Any suggestions?

Hi  @ticotexas

Thanks for posting here.

CPE is not recommended to be used as a repeater/bridge to extend the wireless signal to the terminal equipment.

Reason:

1)      CPE built-in directional antenna, the signal is concentrated in the front panel, the rear panel signal is weak;

2)      CPE is mainly used for long-distance point-to-point connection, not wireless range extension; See this article:

   How to build a Wireless Network between home and farm using tp-link products

3)      Half-duplex transmission, the rate will be reduced by half.

For your situation, please try to  use an Ethernet cable to connect the CPE, and configure it as Access Point mode. Below is a guide:
