All APs suddenly disconnected and unable to reconnect
Hi everybody,
it seems I have a serious issue here but I'm not able to get the reason and the solution.
I have a LAN made by an internet router with 3 independent cables (for 3 independent apartment) going to 3 switches and 3 APs Festa F52 (one for each switch).
Everything worked well up to today, when I made an apparently innocent operation, such as changing the reference wifi of a wifi extender (RE700X) connected to one of those. Suddenly, all the 3 APs went disconnected, even if the router stayed connected and still keeps working properly. I tried to restart the router but the 3 APs remained disconnected. I restarted manually the APs, but they stayed disconnected. I checked the Festa controller but no info was available there, just notifying the alert that the 3 APs are disconnected. My Macbook notified me that there was another device working on the LAN with the same IP address, so I suspect that a mess happened with IP addresses during the reconfiguration of the RE700X. Maybe a reconfiguration of the IP address of the APs would solve the issue, but if it is so, why aren't they simply changing their IPs since they are dynamic?
Now I have wifi off on all the apartments and I don't know how to restore it. I tried to manually reset one of the APs and reimport in the controller, but it is in CONFIGURED status now so I think this is not the way to solve the issue.
What shall I do to make my APs reconnect?
Thank you for your help, it is important...
