Festa Cloud Controller Captive Portal not loading, can’t add an ACL
Festa Cloud Controller Captive Portal not loading, can’t add an ACL
Hi,
I am currently installing a 3 three EAP setup for a property that requires voucher based access via a captive portal, however, we are having an issue where the captive portal will not load on devices ( it comes up as a blank screen).
I have read other instructions from this forum stating that due to these networks being configured as guest networks I will need to configure an ACL Rule to allow them to access the captive portal host, however, as we are using the Festa Cloud Controller, I am unable to access an IP address to allow access to the captive portal.
Am I missing something, or is there another way around this.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I have came here to state that i'm having the same exact issue at not one but TWO of my sites that I have a Festa system deployed, I would also like to be included in this as of right now we have disabled the portals and thats not an exceptable solution, i don't have these issues on any of my Omada sites.

@DarrenT25 on Friday Business support provided me with an updated firmware version via my support ticket, upon installing that this morning, my portals are now functioning correctly.
I believe that a firmware update is required across these devices, I don't know if @Vincent-TP could work with business support to establish getting this firmware update rolled out.

@WandleDigital this is great news! I'm glad they figured out a solution. I'll reach out to them direct and see if they can provide me the same, like you said though it should be pushed out for a public release. Thank you!

@networkphil it wasn't the cloud controller they provided firmware for, it was the F61 EAPs. For EU region EAPs they were on V1, mine are now on 1.0.90 Build 20251219 Rel. 41027.
So it seems to be something to do with the EAPs rather than the cloud controller itself.

Hello,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Good to know that this is about the access point's firmware. Here's my current firmware (snap shot)

Has there been any update to this solution? I'm still here having the same issues, reached out to TP-Link and have not even received a email back.
