How to Reset TP-LInk Switch 3428
how to reset switch i cant reset it from it own dashboard since i forgot my password and username, i also tried using the console to reboot it using putty but it is also asking us for username and password. can you help us this is for our capstone

Power on the switch and keep clicking the keyboard to stop autoboot, then you will enter the BootUtil menu.
To factory reset the switch, type 2 then enter

Its all about the timing with the console type reset
I generally find that plug in power - 2 seconds - then run putty and mash the keyboard generally works.
Sometimes it can take a few tries
