CPE510 cannot find any WIFI signal

Hello,
I have received a CPE510 device and I cannot manage the module to show any WIFI signal via the Survey option at the 5GHz (a). Also cannot display anything at the 2.5GHz (n). I have in parallel other WIFI devices and they display correctly all WIFI signals available.
The spectrum analysis show clear activity at the 5GHz.
I would expect the client module to be pretty simple to configure. Therefore I think the device is broken. Any help please before I return the device?
Thanks

The spectrum analyzer screenshot shows that your 5GHz Signals are all located within band1[5180~5240], which equals to U-NII-1[channel.36~48].
Your Cisco AP is broadcasting in channel 36~48, which is not available in Spain by default.
CE regulations apply to Spain so that CPE510 can only survey band3[5500~5700] in region code of Spain.
If you want CPE to see the SSID, you can change region to Test Mode and do the survey for a test.

I cannot manage the module to show any WIFI signal via the Survey option at the 5GHz (a).
Since you have selected the working mode of Client mode, it will not broadcast wireless radio. Use AP mode instead.
Also cannot display anything at the 2.5GHz (n).
CPE510 works on 5GHz frequency segment. So it's quite normal that you can't see signal on 2.4GHz frequency segment.
And I think you want to configure the device in AP mode for wireless clients to connect, right? Refer to FAQ:[COLOR=#333333]http://www.tplink.com/en/faq-730.html

Hello,
The description of the problem seems to be missunderstood. The CPE510 module cannot find any WIFI Signal via the Survey option. I want the module to be configured as client mode. Therefore I would expect that the survey options shows all WIFI signals available at the room in order one to be selected. However no WIFI signals are shown. Therefore the CPE510 device cannot be connected to any AP.
My mobile handy can show all WIFI signals at 5GHz at the room, I have three 5GHz (a) signals, so I cannot understand why the CPE510 cannot find these three signals.

Since the Spectrum Analysis tool is working well, I think the unit is fine,
And it's normal that at the first several seconds there are no Wi-Fi signals showed in the Survey list as a result of delay.
Just wait for ten or more seconds.

@ralcubierre, start over, reset to defaults, with pin or from interface, last tab to the right, System at the bottom left
when you set your log&pass select Test Mode as Region, in case you don't see Test Mode as Country Region, means you haven't updated 510, if so, select US as your country region, by default is on AP mode, make sure DFS is disabled, change to Client mode, save settings, try and post results

CPE510 cannot find any WIFI signal

After receiving a replacement, still the same. No Wi-Fi signals showed in the survey for 802.11a/n even after waiting several 2/3 minutes.
DFS is disabled, change to Client mode, save settings, and nothing appears in the survey. I give up with this device. Both modules have benn sent back to deliverer.

Could not be more clear than water
YOU ARE WRONG
the last screen shows wifi signals cause is a 2.4 device, that's a smartphone, 510 is a 5Ghz device and you don't have 5Ghz. SSIDs in your area only 2.4 Ghz SSIDs.
Should have bought a CPE210 not a 510, you had that opportunity when you replaced
You had the answer scince post #2 from @bird

as Client your phone will never see 510
if you want your phone to see 510 then configure 510 as AP (DHCP disable) and your phone will see the 510 willl have to be connected to a ISP router or any router that provides internet so AP mode works, or your phone wont see 510 SSID

@ralcubierre, setting client mode disables the wireless card, while survey still works. So check the
"enabled" checkbox in the wireless settings. Then press 'Survey' next to it to see the APs in range.
Make sure you have a+n mode selected for the survey. If it still does not work, reset the device, let
everything at the defaults and check survey first after switching to client mode without changing any
other setting before.
@danymarc, of course we have 5 GHz band in Germany, it has been approved by regulation authorities
in whole Europe since mid-2002.
