adding a managed switch
I'm looking to add the SG2210xMP-M2 to my Omada set up. Currently I have the OC200 connected to an unmanaged omada switch, the SG1008P. What's the best way to add the SG2210xMP-M2? Do I connect it direclty to the ER605 and let the OC200 adopt it? If so, once adopted can I simply connect the controller to the new managed switch?

Does it make a difference if the controller is connected to the managed switch vs the unmanaged? any advantages?

It doesn't matter if you have it on VLAN 1. If you're going to use management VLAN and stuff like that, you need to have the controller in a switch that you can configure VLAN on.
but since you're asking, I assume you should have all devices on vlan1 which is the default vlan

@MR.S good to know, thank you. I have a few wifi devices on a second vlan for work and a 3rd vlan set up as a guest network, but everything else is on vlan 1
