I have 3 CPE210 devices. I set these up 3 years ago. One is hanging in my house window and broadcasting to the barns. I have two other devices on the outside of the barns receiving the broadcast and have wifi routers inside the barns to share the service inside the buildings. The barns are metal and we struggle with signals inside.

Since configuring these in 2022, i have a new laptop and have replaced the mesh nighthawk devices in the home with Deco.

The wifi in barn 1 was working and then it wasn't. The CPE210 has two lights and that's it. No internet for the router. I put in a new router. I bought a new CPE210 and installed Pharos on my laptop. It does not find any devices. I cannot recall how I managed to connect and configure these things in the past. I am now thinking barn2 isn't actually working either and the TV must be picking up signal from the broadcasted CPE device, not the wifi set up in the barn.

I have tried setting my laptop to a fixed IP. I have plugged the CPE to the Deco, to a hub and directly to the laptop - cannot connect with Pharos. What am I missing?

Hi  @Laura99

Thanks for posting here.

To configure the CPE devices, you don't need Pharos controller. And you don't  need to plug the device or the management laptop to the deco either.

Here are the recommended steps:

1. Factory reset the three CPE units.

2. Configure the first CPE in the house as Access point mode:

How to Configure the Access Point Mode on the Pharos device

3. Configure the other two CPE in Client mode to receive the first CPE's signal;

How to Configure the Client Mode on the Pharos device

This is the guide to access the web interface for cpe devices:

How to login to the Pharos-Series’ web management page

Why cannot I log in to the web management page of the CPE?
