Hello,

connecting Openwrt and Netgear switch I select tagged for all VLAN 1t, 20t on both sides for each Port.

Between Openwrt and TL-SG108PE, I need to leave the connected Port 8 on TPLink switch untagged for VLAN 1.

Port 8 (TL-SG108PE) - (VLAN 1u, 10t  )

Should this not also be tagged for VLAN1t , as the bridge between both?  OpenWRT I configured here (VLAN 1t, 10t).

Hi @John404,

You should be able to make VLAN 1 tagged, but I think you would need to have at least one other vlan (dummy vlan) as an untagged member assigned to the PVID on the port.

ok many thanks will try.

So you mean just on uplink e.g. Port 8 (TL-SG108PE) - (VLAN 1t, 10t, 50u ), or should I leave vlan 50 untagged on all port...

@John404, assuming VLAN 50 is the dummy vlan, you can just add it to the uplink (trunk) port.  The other ports, which I assume are access ports, would already have one untagged VLAN and PVID set.

Just tried to add VLAN50 untagged for all ports 1-8. After I put VLAN 1 tagged for uplink port 1-4,8, WLAN connection is gone...

Just putting tagged on Port 8 - ROuter > Switch , this at least keeps working, 1 step forward.

So need to check why Port 1,2,3, where each a POE EAP650  is runnings, gets kicked out.

Does OMADA EAP not support VLAN 1 tagged?

as reading more and more, VLAN 1 is maybe not best for main LAN, so will move that to different VLAN number and leave VLAN1 as is.
