Change HDD to new nvr device

Model: VIGI NVR1008H

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version:

Hi.

I have Tp link VIGI NVR1008H. I want to change my nvr with VIGI NVR1016H.But when I put the hard disk to new nvr my old record will be deleted.

Does anyone have any information on this?

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Basically the recordings in HDD would not be deleted if you want to use a new NVR, but the HDD newly installed into the new NVR should be formatted.

So it is recommended to save the recordings to your computer or other storage device before inserting into the NVR1016H, the new NVR.
