I have a fairly large home network based around an SG1016PE switch with two ES208GP switches for outbuildings and a total of 8 EAPs plus an OC200 hardware controller.  The ES208 switches are Omada-managed but the SG1016PE cannot be Omada-managed and I'd like to upgrade it to a switch that can be Omada-managed (must have more than 16 ports, mostly PoE).  This seemed fairly easy and I bought an Access SG3428MP - 28 ports.  Perfect specification . . . except it is 13 inches deep and my cabinet is only 12 inches deep!  So I'm now looking at the Agile ES228GMP, which is only 7-inches deep (same as the SG1016PE) but is only 16 ports.  So my question is could I use 2x ES228GMP units and connect them together via their non-PoE uplink ports?  I'm guessing I can but have no idea about the implications in terms of Omada management and network topology.  In particular, I have a lot (30+) IoT devices connected as wifi clients and I recall reading somewhere that the Omada Agile switches can only 'see' a limited number of clients, meaning that many of them might be invisible to the controller.  Any ideas or suggestions (apart from getting a deeper cabinet!)?
