Hello everyone,

I have the following environment:

• Windows Server (AD/DC) with shared folder

• FRITZ!Box

• TP-Link TL-SG3428 with Omada Controller v6.1.0.19

Today I made the following configuration on the switch:

Port 1 (connection to the FRITZ!Box):
Mode: Access
VLAN: 10 (untagged)
802.1X: disabled

Port 2 (connection to the switch management PC):
Mode: Access
VLAN: 10 (untagged)
802.1X: disabled

Immediately after saving the configuration, the switch became disconnected. Since then, I have lost access to both the Internet and the shared folders.

Since I no longer had access to the TL-SG3428, I removed it from the LAN and connected an unmanaged 24-port switch instead to restore access to Internet and LAN resources.

Unfortunately, the following serious problems still persist:

• The Internet is extremely slow and keeps disconnecting

• The file server denies access to shared folders (either no access or very slow response)

• Domain login is extremely slow

• Working on the PC is practically impossible

What should I do to restore at least normal LAN and Internet operation? Would reset the FRITZ!Box or Windows Server configuration to previous state help?

Thank you, I reset the switch and now every thing seems to function well.
