Hi, I’m having an issue with my TP-Link VIGI NVR1008H, hardware version 1. Until recently it worked perfectly in continuous recording mode. Now it keeps disconnecting from the network — it goes offline after about 50 minutes to 1 hour, and then reconnects again after some time.

The NVR itself keeps running (it does not reboot), but since it is offline, it loses data from all cameras.

I tried restarting it and also performed a factory reset using the hardware button, but the issue remains.

Normally I use a static IP configuration. I noticed something strange:
when I switch to Dynamic IP, the NVR reconnects every time with an IP address that is one number lower than before.

Example:

• First it connects with 192.168.1.118
• After going offline and back online, it reconnects as 192.168.1.117
• After the next drop: 192.168.1.116
  …and so on.

The offline intervals are inconsistent — sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 10, sometimes nearly 30 minutes.

Nothing was changed in the network, no new devices were added, and everything had been running without issues before this started happening on its own.

What could be causing this problem?
