EAP787 V1.0, LED no longer lights up (blue)
Dear TP-Link Team,
I noticed that the (blue) LED on my EAP787 V1.0 (Firmware 1.5.2) no longer lights up. The AP is connected to a SG3428XPP-M2 switch on Port 1 (PoE++). I forced provision, reset the AP and re-adopted it - no success. After connecting the AP to the PoE switch, the LED briefly turns orange during startup and then goes off completely. Also the function "identify" does not work - the LED remains off. The AP itself is working normally. Any idea what could be causing this? Many thanks!

we have the same symptoms, mine also sometimes flicker faint blue, very briefly and then remained off. Also when hard resetting the device, amber is on very brief and will then remained off. I have attempted to roll back the firmware from 1.5.2 to 1.5.0, but the symptoms is the same (blank LED) under 10G PoE++.
I am also looking to bring my unit to the repair center when I have the time. Mine was purchased in nov 2025, and must still be under warranty.

Accidentally, the blue LED started to flicker briefly this morning and I was able to capture it on video. I was not able to upload the video file but attached is a timeline of the video frames in images. So the Blue led is still functioning amid flickering
