Model: EAP115-Bridge KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Want to use the eap115 bridge kit for connect to a IP camera and a NVR without need to lay network cable.

Had configure one ap as master ap, by connecting to a router. Then, place the other ap in line of sight with the master ap . Which pair it as sub ap.

Sub ap has a IP camera and master ap connect to NVR.

Connect a IP camera to the sub ap and it is able to see the camera at the NVR.

Remove the cable that connect to the router at master ap. It maintained the connection for approx 2 minutes plus, then the connection is break off. Notices the master ap seems to be no longer as master ap as the LEDs are no longer on...

Appreciate any advice

Hi,  @cctv2026
Thank you for posting on our business forum.

For the topology you are using, to ensure normal communication between your NVR and IP camera, please confirm the following points:

1.Please ensure the Main AP remains connected to your router at all times.
2.Please ensure the Client AP maintains a stable connection to the Main AP. We recommend avoiding placing the APs in areas with heavy wireless interference, to prevent issues such as abnormal communication or unstable connection between the NVR and the camera.
3.Please ensure both the Main AP and Client AP are properly powered on and operating normally, which means their indicator lights should work normally. For the Main AP, please confirm its Power LED and LAN LED are illuminated normally; for the Client AP, please confirm its Power LED and Signal LED are illuminated normally.
