Model: VIGI NVR1008H
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Dont really remember

Hello, this is my first time making this post, i have this VIGI NVR1008H with 8 camaras working fine, the issue is that when the power goes out and the back up battery goes to, and then i put the poweer on again the NVR dosent keep going.

it shows me the logo of TP-LINK VIGI then It acts as if it's going to start the Vigi interface, but it restarts and is stuck in a restart loop. i dont know why is making this, It's worth noting that I've kept it with its original transformer and haven't replaced it with another one.

@Lazaruz Just to clarify, the NVR is plugged into a UPS? Or is it plugged into the outlet, and then you have a backup generator that kicks in that can start the VIGI NVR?

If the latter, I recommend you get a UPS so you can safely shut down the NVR, especially if the power goes out frequently.

@Lazaruz A UPS is designed to only have enough power to allow you to safely shut down the devices behind it, if it regularly runs out of energy it's not really doing its job, and you likely need a backup generator instead.

@Lazaruz If possible I'd try to solve your power issues first to prevent your building power from going down so frequently. As far as i can tell, if powering off the NVR normally does not cause the issue, you should be looking to solve the power issues here first.

@Lazaruz My guess is it's probably trying to recover, but failing. While waiting on your power issues, can you check to see if the firmware is updated?

@Lazaruz If you log into the web UI by typing in the IP of the NVR from a computer, does it display anything?
