Software or Power issue
Software or Power issue
Hello, this is my first time making this post, i have this VIGI NVR1008H with 8 camaras working fine, the issue is that when the power goes out and the back up battery goes to, and then i put the poweer on again the NVR dosent keep going.
it shows me the logo of TP-LINK VIGI then It acts as if it's going to start the Vigi interface, but it restarts and is stuck in a restart loop. i dont know why is making this, It's worth noting that I've kept it with its original transformer and haven't replaced it with another one.

@Lazaruz Seems like the NVR is working; check your display cable? When the reboot loop happens, are you able to log into the Web UI like you did just now?

@NeilR_M i If I connect via the web UI, it shows me the configuration interface, but it doesn't show the live cameras even though they are connected with certified cables. The problem is that when I look at the TV to which the NVR is connected, it shows the VIGI logo and then restarts.

@Lazaruz Can you try factory resetting the NVR and trying again? (I would recommend taking a backup first).

@Lazaruz Here's an FAQ for you.
How to reset VIGI NVR to factory defaults | TP-Link
Also, I would recommend exporting the configuration before doing that, and restoring after the reset. It should be in the same window as the Factory Reset, but if not, it should be in Settings > System Management.

@NeilR_M Well, suddenly the system started up. What I'd like to know is why it started up the way it did.
