We are using an Omada Controller with an External Portal for users to accept the Terms of Use before getting internet access.

- The Issue:
Everything works flawlessly on Android devices. However, we are facing weird behaviors exclusively on iOS devices:

In most cases, when connecting to the SSID, the CNA opens but bypasses our external portal completely, showing Apple's success screen (captive.apple.com) directly. It is important to note that even though it shows this success screen, the device still has absolutely no internet access.

In other cases, the CNA doesn't trigger at all, leaving the user connected to the Wi-Fi but without internet (unless they manually open a browser).

Firmware Version: 1.2.5 Build 20250321 Rel. 58737

EAP Models: EAP650-Outdoor v1.0

Portal Type: External Portal Server

Has anyone experienced this specific issue with iOS bypassing the external portal but remaining offline? Could this be related to the Pre-Auth Access / Walled Garden settings somehow spoofing Apple's heartbeat URLs?

Any guidance on how to force the CNA to properly load our external page on iOS would be highly appreciated!
