Good morning I have bought a switch tl-sg3424. I have been able to access to the bootrom and I can reset and reboot the switch but when I try to change the ip interface on this menu with the command "ifconfig" the changes was not applied.

Why don't this changes apply?

Regards. Sorry for my English, I'm writing from Spain

What you really want to do with the switch? Change the IP of the switch? If so, you need to use the follow command:
(e.g.you want to change ip for 192.168.0.10)

TL-SG3424(config)# interface vlan 1
TL-SG3424(config-if)# ip address 192.168.0.10 255.255.255.0

Thank you for your answer. I was exploring all the capabilities of the switch. I know than i can change the ip address through the CLI and the GUI, but I wanted to change it in the bootrom menu. Imagine that you want to access the switch and you don't know the ip address and you don't want to waste your time looking for it scanning the net.

Regards.
