Model : cpe510

Hardware Version :

Firmware Version : 1.3.3

ISP :

I have been using the cpe 510 for a while now and currently use a switch with QOS traffic shaping afterwards in order to limit the access speed. I was wondering if there is an option hidden somewhere in order to achieve this on the radio itself.

It's not hidden, at least on FW 1.3.2
But it won't work better than your switch

Well, maybe there is a trick with iptables, but keeping in mind that the radio is based in Busybox and the system is readonly the chances to achieve this are near 0.
If you find something related to that please let us know. ;)

No tricks, QOS is there
If you want the radio to behave the way you wish
My advice, flash LEDE, all your needs will be fulfilled
If you do, before, just make sure you can upload Tp-Link FW via Recovery mode
In case you don't like it, you can go back to stock, here http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?81684-How-to-use-firmware-recovery-function-of-Pharos-CPE

I am aware of the QOS checkbox on the wireless tab but this does not limit bandwidth. Can you direct me to the tab where I can limit the bandwidth with ingress, egress, burst and the like? My firmware version is 1.3.3
