Hi, I want to connect two CPE210 in Point to Multipoint mode. How do I address a device such as network printer connected to an AP Client Router from the gateway
netework? Thanks

Access the network printer from where? AP Client Router mode isolates the local network, which is connected wirelessly to the WISP provider. The CPE210's WiFi is part of the WAN network, your devices connected by wire to the CPE share an isolated, separate network being routed. Usually the devices of this network are not accessible from the outside. See picture below, note the IP addresses/subnets.

Many thanks for your comments. I have a siutation where devices are connected to the gateway router as well as the AP 210. I was hoping I could set up a remote network using a second 210 my problem is distance, the second network is beyond the 300ft of a standard wired network. Regards Dave

Yes, but it would be of no much use if you have only a true PtP setup with two CPEs. If you connect more than one CPE client to your AP, it can help to equally distribute air-time to the clients.See http://www.tp-link.com/lk/faq-694.html for an introduction into MAXtream technology.

Maybe you could put the CPE in BRIDGE, not in a router. By placing them in this mode, the devices (AP and Client or clients) will be totally transparent to the network, and the wireless connection will be made as if it had placed a cable between them ...

And any device can reach anyone who is connected to the network ..., And the only device that will assign the IP addresses, will be the main router through its own DHCP
