Just set up my SG108E V2 and am unable to connect to the internet. My pc reports the following problem: "Local Are Connection" doesn't have a valid IP connection.
I updated to firmware : TL-SG108E(UN)_V2_160526
Any help would be great!

Sorry! I didn't realize there were separate sections for "easy smart switches" and "smart switches" when I posted the first time under smart switches!:o

Having a similar issue on my SG108E V2, when plugged into the Switch I get local connection to other computers plugged into the switch, however when my router is plugged into the switch, (Tried wifi off and on and I have restarted the computer, and router, and switch.) I cannot get any internet connection on any PC plugged into the switch. Anyone have any idea what I should do?

Check on your PC if you get an IP from your router, i.e. if DHCP is working (see network settings).

Next try to ping the router. Then try to ping some site on the Internet. If it still does not work, check wether you get Internet connection if your PC is connected directly to the router. If it does, reset the switch to its factory settings and try again using the switch.
