How to login to the Pharos-Series’ web management page?

The web-based management page is a built-in internal web server that does not require internet access.It does however require your device to be connected to the TP-Link device. Take CPE as an example.

Note: Low version of your web browser may cause compatibility problem with the web-based interface(management page) of your device, such as unable to log into the interface, display incomplete features etc. 

Physical Connection

Plug the PoE adapter into the power socket, connect the computer to the LAN port of the PoE adapter, connect the CPE’s LAN0 port to the PoE port of the PoE adapter.
Note: The DHCP is disabled by default, so please set static IP Address on your computer first.
 
Initial Computer Setup– For Windows 7, Vista & XP
Step 1:
Windows 7&Windows Vista: Go to Start->Control Panel ->Network and Sharing Center
Windows XP: Go to Start->Control Panel->Network Connections
 
 
Step 2:
Windows 7: Go to Network and Sharing Center>Change Adapter settings
Windows Vista: Go to Network and Sharing Center>Manage Network Connections
Windows XP: (Go to Next Step)
 
Step 3:
Windows 7, Vista and XP: Right Click Local Area Connection >Select Properties > Double Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) forWindows XP.
 
Step 4:
Windows 7, Vista and XP: Select “Use the Following IP address:
Type the following information:
1.      IP address: 192.168.0.10
2.      Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
3.      Default Gateway:192.168.0.254
 Click OK to exit.
Click OK again to apply the settings.

 
 
Initial Computer Setup– For Windows8/8.1
Press “Windows key  +F”, a search box will come out, please input control panel and press enter;
please click on “Network and Internet Network and Sharing Center Change Adapter Settings (on the left)”;
Right click on “Ethernet”,go to“Properties”, and then choose “Internet Protocol Version 4”, click on Properties;
 
please select “Use the following IP address”, and type the following information:
1.      IP address: 192.168.0.10
2.      Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
3.      Default Gateway:192.168.0.254
 Click OK to exit.
Click OK again to apply the settings.
 
Initial Computer Setup– For Mac OS X
Go to the Apple>System Preferences>Network> Highlight Ethernet >Configure IPv4: Using DHCP with manual address
Input the IPv4 Address: 192.168.0.10
Click Apply
 
Access the Management Page
Open a Web Browser > Type 192.168.0.254 in the address bar > Press Enter>
Check the box”I agree to these terms of use”;Enter the default User Name: admin, Password: admin; Select the correct Region.Click Login.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
For security consideration, we need change the default “admin”password, please create a private Username/Password, then click Finish.
Note: Please do remember this newly created Username/Password, you will be requested to type in the new account to login to the management page next time.
