Model: CPE220
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: v3.1

Hi people, got a new wifi 4g modem and went to change wifi password in cpe but it would not let me in.. reset cpe, now it says 192.168.0.254 uses an unsupported protocol.ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

tried 3 computers, disabled security  AV and firewall .. used private/ incognito browser.. triple checked IPs.. all as per manual OK ...still no go!?

There is a newer firmware:

New Features/Enhancements:
1. Optimized the SSID scan process.
2. Extended the SSL certificate validity to 2029.

Bug Fixed:
1. Fixed the CVE-2020-8597 PPPoE security problem.
2. Fixed the bug that CPE may failed to connect with TP-Link Deco products.

Notes:
1. For CPE220(UN) v3.0 only.
2. Your device's configuration won't be lost after upgrading.

.. but how to update when I cant log into dashboard to update?

  @ROAMERNZ

I believe the issue is caused by TLS version.

You can try some other web browser(maybe IE or old version chrome), and enable TLS1.1 on the browser.

Note it's only available for old version web browser.
