We have a tp-link in our on-premise VMWare environment and I am in the process of migrating to AWS or Azure assuming it is supported there. Is this something that is supported in Azure and/or AWS or what is the best practice?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Sam

  @sao23

I'm not sure what you mean, but you need to notice the firmware version of the controller if you wanna migrate it.

Note:

Controller Migration allows Omada administrators to migrate your configurations and data from the current controller to any other controller that has the same version.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

  @sao23 We are running the controller in Azure on a Linux VM.

Just follow the guide at How to install Omada SDN controller on Linux system (above Controller 5.0.29) | TP-Link Nederland and you should be ok.

Let me know if you have any questions.
